The shoe cabinet is constructed from prelaminated Engineered Wood, which is a fibreboard compressed with hardwood extracts, providing a strong core with excellent screw-holding capacity. Additionally, the wood is chemically treated to protect against termites and borer infestation. The surface of the engineered wood is laminated with synthetic resin-impregnated base papers under heat and pressure, resulting in a smooth texture resembling wood grain or a solid matte colour, offering a cost-effective alternative to melamine facing.
