As a hardwood, Sheesham wood is heavy and dense, and it has good pest and decay resistance. It is also more flexible than teak and many other hardwoods, which means it can be bent without cracking. Sheesham wood is known for its beautiful colors, which make every piece unique. It usually has a straight grain that makes it relatively easy to carve, turn and glue, and it has a natural lustre and smooth finish. It sometimes has a slight pleasant fragrance due to the resins trapped in the wood. Finish type - stain on solidwood: Solidwood is stained & covered with a protective layer for making the furniture scratch, heat and stain resistant helping to increase durability. Treatment type - kiln drying & fumigation : wood is kiln dried & excess moisture content is removed. This is to ensure warping, cracking of wood & improve durability. Wood is fumigated to eradicate borer and termites. Treatment type - wood fumigation: Solid wood components are fumigated before and after fabrication to eliminate mites’ infestation. Additional hardware - PVC spacers, levellers: rubber pad is given below the leg to ensure better friction and prevent scratching on floor the advantages of Sheesham wood include its durability, versatility, and attractive finish. Chair frame/ Stool Seat: Polyester fabric is used which is synthetic and easily recyclable material with high tensile strength and durability and last much longer. Being chemical generated these are natural anti-bacterial. High quality high resilient foam is used in chair seat.
