Frame: The primary material of this sofa is made of Meranti wood and a Plywood box. Meranti Wood is a flexible wood with a variety of subspecies, and sources. It has a straight-grain consistency; hence it produces long, straight pieces of lumber and it has an open grain, that should be Sanded and then Primed before painting. Plywood is very cost-effective to use in structural applications. Plywood boxes offer higher load-bearing capacity and offer evenness when foam/polyfill when added to the box. Upholstery: The sofa is upholstered with polycotton fabric which is a combination of both natural cotton and synthetic polyester fibres. It has the soft and absorbent qualities of cotton as well as the durable and easy-to-care-for nature of polyester. Seat Construction: A combination of S-spring & 28-density high-resilience PU foam is used to make seats to provide suitable comfort. Back Construction: The sofa back has an addon lumber cushion for enhanced back support. Large back cushions have 1.50 kg non-siliconized virgin poly fibre filling for relaxing comfort. Sag Spring: Seat construction is added with powder-coated metal Sag springs which are more durable and provide more cushioning and comfort. Sofa Leg: Plastic legs for more strength and durability. Throw cushions are provided with Polyfill and removable fillers with a 120 gsm non-woven layer which adds a firm layer of protection for inner filling for relaxing comfort. Cushion Cover (Removable): Yes. Lumber Support: Throw cushions are provided for additional lumber support for seating comfortably for a long duration. Comfort Rating: Semi-Soft.
